The Association is putting together a cookbook and asking all Polish community members to contribute:

  • Stories about the recipes, or other food-related stories or memories,
  • Pictures about the food, stories or memories. This could include, for example, images of the

Polish Professionals in NZ

Since launching the Association’s newest subgroup on Facebook  just over a month ago, 222 members of New Zealand’s Polish community have joined Polish Professionals New Zealand.

If you’d like to join, you can sign up on  https://www.facebook.com/groups/PolishProfressionalsNewZealand/  or, if you don’t use Facebook, just email us on association@polishcommunity.co.nz and we’ll pop you on our mailing list.

This group is for all members of the Polish community, from all walks of work life. Polish or English speaking, new to New Zealand or with parents born here, from students to teachers to retired members willing to share the benefit of their experience: if you would like to get to know more people in the community, hear about what other people are doing, maybe check out some interesting speakers, this group is for you.

We’re planning our first event for July, so keep an eye on the Association website and Facebook pages for details. To help us ensure this group is successful it would be great if anyone those joining PPNZ could participate in this super quick survey (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JVLWWQ7). Answers can be anonymous if you’d prefer.

Polskie Msze Niedzielne w Wellingtonie / Polish Mass in Wellington

Since the end of March, St Joachim’s Church is unavailable for use by the Polish community therefore, from the
start of June, Polish Masses on Sundays will be held in the chapel at Our Lady’s Home of Compassion, Island
Bay.
