The traditional “Easter Table” will be held at the Polish House, 257 Riddiford Street, Newtown, Wellington, on Palm Sunday, 25 March 2018, at 2.30pm. However, from 1.00 pm there will be an opportunity to buy a hot meal. On the menu are: “bigos”, “pierogi”, potato patties and sausages with bread. For those interested in a lighter meal there will be sandwiches, cakes, tea and coffee.
At 2.30 pm there will be the sale of traditional polish baking displayed on the “Easter Table”, which will include: doughnuts, poppy seed cakes, cheesecakes, honey cakes, honey biscuits, and yeast buns. Cold “pierogi” will also be available. We invite all Polish families and all New Zealand friends who like homemade Polish food to attend.
All proceeds from the sales are assigned for the many needs of the Polish Parish in Wellington.

Uprzejmie przypominamy, że tradycyjny Stół Wielkanocny”odbędzie się w Domu Polskim, 257 Riddiford St, Newtown, Wellington, w Palmową Niedzielę, 25 marca 2018, o godzinie 2.30 po południu, ale od godziny 1.00 po południu będzie można kupić gorący posiłek, do wyboru: bigos, pierogi, placki kartoflane, kiełbasa i chleb. Będą też kanapki, ciastka, kawa i herbata. Od 2.30 po południu będzie można ze „Stołu Wielkanocnego” kupić pierogi na zimno, pączki, makowce, serniki, pierniczki, rogaliki, bułeczki i inne smaczności przypominające nam polską kuchnię.
