Afternoon: walk to the park, board games, singing and dancing – we’ll learn Belgijka

Morning: trip to the city/Te Papa (depending on weather), art & craft – getting ready for Te Papa workshop
Lunch : we’ll be preparing shared lunch
Afternoon: magic show and you can learn a magic trick or two
Cost: $20 per child per day
Lunch will be provided, but we ask the kids to bring something for shared morning and afternoon tea.
There will be 4 teachers looking after the kids. Children from Polish schools in Christchurch and
Palmerston North will be attending, which will be a great opportunity for anyone from Wellington to
socialise and make some new Polish friends

Fun for kids and adults – paint and draw one of the most famous historical battles in the history of Poland
and be in to win prizes.
Brought to you by the Polish Embassy and the Wellington Polish School you can refine your art skills and
draw a Polish military legend, Tadeusz Kościuszko (and learn how to correctly pronounce his name).
Tadeusz Kościuszko was part of one of the most famous historical battles, and gave his name to the highest
mountain in Australia. Learn a little bit more about Polish history while creating a unique piece of art.
