What it means to me to be Polish in New Zealand

We invite youth under 25 years of age (as of April 28th, 2024) to submit art works interpretating ‘What it means to be Polish in NZ’.

Submissions formats (maximum two per person) may take various forms including:
Activities such as music (songs, instrumental performance, original compositions), dance, sonic and performance art, video, drama, mixed media - time limit 3 minutes. Polish and/or English if applicable.
Visual arts such as painting, sculpture, crafts, mixed media. Size guideline is format A2 or smaller. Written forms such as poetry, stories, essays under 300 words. Polish and/or English accepted.

Please register your interest by filling online form https://form.jotform.com/240787350682867 before April 21st 2024. Submit your works either electronically to association@polishcommunity.org.nz or in person at Dom Polski in Newtown by 5pm on April 28th 2024.

All submissions will be displayed, presented or performed at Dom Polski in Newtown at 1:30 pm on Sunday 5th May, 2024.
Every entry will receive a prize at this occasion and will be judged by the Polish Embassy in Wellington. We look forward to seeing your ideas. Good luck / Powodzenia!
