Orzeł Dance Ensemble

Formed at the beginning of 2020, with a vision of a traditional and modern choreography fusion, Orzeł enjoys performing the quick oberek, the sassy tańce from Podhale, and the teasing polka.

Orzeł represented Wellington at the 2022/2023 PolArt festival held in Sydney and look forward to hosting the participants of the next festival in 2025 which will be held in Wellington. Orzeł also performs at concerts around Wellington for the Polish and wider community. 

Orzeł is not only a dance group, but a social group for young Polish descendants. We welcome any newcomers who may be interested in joining, to our practices on Thursday evenings from 7.15pm at the Dom Polski!!
