The Polish Charity Fund in NZ (Inc)
The Polish Charity Fund in NZ (INC) was established by the Polish community in Wellington in the 1960s, with monies gifted to them from various donors.
The objective and purpose of this Fund, is to be a source of financial support for any Polish group involved in the promotion of culture and religion within the Polish community.
The Polish Charity Fund is managed by a board of five trustees, currently:
Krysia Rosner-Quirke (chairperson)
Grażyna Capstick
Stanisław Januszkiewicz
Krysia Januszkiewicz-Reid (secretary)
Tadek Wypych
The Fund is a registered charity. Deposits are directed entirely to bank or bank related companies, in order to ensure that the capital base of the Fund is at very low risk. The board meets annually to distribute the interest generated from the capital base. Regular beneficiaries from this distribution of funds are: the Polish Chaplain, Komitet Duszpasterski (Church Committee), the Polish School, and The Lublin Dance Company and Orlęta Dance Ensemble.
The board is endeavoring to increase the capital base through donations, bequests and fundraising, so we value your support.
